This is a MAX3232-based level shifter for converting TTL-level serial to standard RS-232 serial. This will allow a microcontroller to communicate with a computer.Works at both 5V and 3.3V.Unit comes fully assembled and tested as shown.4-pin header contains 0V, power and RX, TX connections. In addition there is a mini USB socket which can be used to supply power to the unit.
